Progress reports are issued each nine week
grading period in Brevard Public Schools.

 

 Kindergarten progress reports use the following marking code:

4  Meets and applies expectations/standards independently
3 Meets and applies expectations/standards with support
2 Does not meet expectations/standards; shows growth with additional support
1 Does not meet expectations/standards; shows no growth even with support

Transitional Kindergarten/First Grade and Grades 1 and 2 progress reports use the following marking code:

O - Outstanding

 

Demonstrates outstanding progress
Exceeds expectations
Self directed

S - Satisfactory

 

Demonstrates adequate progress
Meets expectations
Requires little teacher direction

N - Not Demonstrated

 

Needs more time and experience to make adequate progress
Begins to meet expectations
Requires frequent teacher directions

U - Unsatisfactory

 

Demonstrates unsatisfactory progress
Works below grade level expectations
Requires repeated teacher direction

Grades 3 - 6 progress reports use the following numerical values established by Florida Statue:

90-100

A

Excellent 
80-89

B

Good 
70-79

C

Satisfactory 
60-69 

D

Poor 
0-59 

F

Unsatisfactory 

O, S, N and U are used for grades 3-6 for Lifelong Learning Skills of Independence and Cooperation and optional subjects.

In grades K-6, a check indicates below grade level performance in reading and/or math and noted in the coment section.
